1. God asks us to be holy in all we do. The command was given to reward us and bless us. Three reasons are given to motivate us to be holy in all we do. God is holy. God judges each believer’s work. We are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Ultimately our faith and hope are in God who raised Christ from the dead and glorified him. He will do the same for us.

2. Seek the will of God more than anything else. Think about “What is God doing?”

3. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

4. Protection for medical professionals, health care workers, especially our co-workers who are working in the front line of the virus. 

5. Pray for the protection and provision of people who are lacking in their basic needs, especially our co-workers.   

6. Use our time as foreigners here in reverent fear of God. 

7. Humble ourselves and follow government guidelines including wearing masks and keeping social distance. It is an act of love for our neighbors because we can be carriers of the virus without symptoms.

8. Prayer government authorities, the president, governors, mayors, health specialists that they may make decisions according to the will of God. 

9. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

10. Our chapter name is Los Angeles UBF instead of Downey UBF. It is because we need one name for LA UBF, and people from other places cannot know Downey belongs to LA. 

11. Pray for M. Daniel & Rejoice Shim, and Ezra, and Pearl. I asked M. John Choi to have 1:1 with M. Daniel Shim until he can join a group bible study. M. Daniel will start his first day as RN tomorrow in ICU unit. So please pray for him to be successful in his career.
