Dear Parents,
There will be a virtual vision camp series from late July to mid- September. Most sessions will be held on the weekends.
Unlike a normal conference, children will attend only the topics that specifically interest them such as dating/marriage; social justice; biblical counseling; and being a Godly man/woman. Anyone between (roughly) the ages of 16 to 24 can participate.
Children can have a great chance to meet other 2nd gens from around the world and learn many things in depth for their spiritual growth and have a lot of fun!
Registration will go live at visioncampubf.org on Sunday, July 12 at 6:00 am in LA TIME. The spaces will be limited so children are encouraged to register early. You can find more detailed information about the camp from a letter from vision camp director Abraham Lee below.
Thank you.
================================
Dear Vision Camp Friends,
I am pleased to announce that we will be holding a virtual Vision Camp Series with registration opening on Sunday, July 12 at 0900 EST (2200 Korea Time). The Vision Camp Series will be an opportunity for anyone between (roughly) the ages of 16 to 24 to register for online session(s) tailored around specific topics. Unlike a normal conference, you will have the opportunity to register for and attend only the topics that specifically interest you! Based on feedback from you through conversations and survey responses, we will be offering a menu of topics that we know are of interest to you. You will be able to choose from any number of topics which may include, but are not limited to, dating/marriage; social justice; biblical counseling; and being a Godly man/woman, just to name a few.
During this time of social distancing, it's more important than ever to stay engaged and persevere in seeking God's vision for your life. Social distancing doesn't mean we have to be alone or unproductive or unmotivated. COVID-19 may have canceled our physical camp in Toronto, but the goal of Vision Camp can't be stopped. As has been true with Vision Camps in the past, we cordially invite you to more times of "faith, fellowship, and fun." That means offering topics that are timely and relevant to your life and faith. That means most of your online sessions will be limited in size which we hope will allow for more interaction, discussion, and true fellowship. That means honest conversations that are always the most interesting and fun!
Registration will go live at visioncampubf.org on Sunday, July 12 at 0900 EST / 1400 London Time / 2200 Korea Time and will close on Monday, July 20 at 0900 EST. As noted above, spaces will be limited so we encourage you to register early. The registration page will include the session topic, speaker info, language (English/Korean), and proposed dates/times. This way you can have all the information you need to make sure it fits into your schedule and register accordingly. The Vision Camp Series will likely run from late July to mid-September. We aim to hold most sessions on the weekends to accommodate participants from different time zones so we welcome everyone from around the world! And we will continue to update the registration page as new offerings become available. That includes a virtual Town Hall with UBF General Director, Pastor Moses Yoon, in late August (more details to follow). I hope all of you will join us for that!
In closing, I am excited for the possibilities that this new format affords us. I am grateful that our global Vision Camp community can stay connected and even grow together during this time of unprecedented challenges. I am hopeful you will come and join us to seek God's vision for your life. Thank you to everyone who filled out surveys; helped me with planning; prayed for and supported Vision Camp; and offered to lead a session. I am truly humbled by all of you.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me directly. Keep calm, pray, and wash your hands. God bless you!
Regards,
Abraham Lee
Vision Camp Director
