Matthew 18:21-35

Key Verse 35: "So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

  1. V21-22. Why do you think Peter asked the question: “How often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him”?

  2. Why do you think Jesus tells us to forgive our brothers/sisters 77 times?

  3. V23-27. What was the servant’s problem?

    1. How did the King treat the servant? Why do you think the King treated his servant this way?

  4. V28-31. What was the 2nd servant’s problem?

    1. How did the 1st servant treat the 2nd servant? Why do you think the 1st servant treated his fellow servant this way?

    2. What effect did this have on the other fellow servants? What did they do?
