The Three Servants

Matthew 25:14-30

Key verse 25:21

“His master replied, ‘You have done well, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!’”

Read verses 14-18.  Where was the man going?  How much did he give each of his servants?  Why did he give each a different amount?  What did the first two servants do with their money?  What was the result?  What did the third servant do with his money?

Read verses 19-23.  What did the man want when he returned?  What did he receive from the first two servants?  How did he bless them?  What can we learn about the master?  

3.  Read verses 24-30.  What did the master receive from the third servant?  What excuse did the third servant make?  How did the master answer this servant?  What did the master do with his money?  How was the third servant cursed?
