Whoever Acknowledges Me before Men

Matthew 10:24-33

Key verse 10:32

“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.”

Read verses 24-28.  Who are those who persecute Christians really serving?  Whose Children are they?  What are the reasons we should not be afraid of them?  Rather, whom should we fear?  Why?  

Read verses 29-31.  What shows that God values our life?  How does knowing this help us to overcome fear about our life?  How can we live in, not apart from God’s will (Matthew 6:30; 8:26; 14:31; 16:8)?  

3.  Read verses 32-33.  What will Jesus do for those who acknowledge him before men?  What will happen to those who disown him before men?  How can we acknowledge Jesus before men?
