“But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

What are the four types of heart soil?  Read verse 19 again.  What is the problem of the person with path-like heart soil?  What happened to the seed planted on the path-like heart soil?  

Read verses 20-21.  What is the problem of the person with rocky heart soil?  What happened to the seed planted on rocky heart soil?  

Read verse 22.  What is the problem of the person with rocky heart soil?  What happened to the seed planted on rocky heart soil?  

Read verse 23.  What is good about the person with good heart soil?  What happened to the seed planted on good heart soil?  How can we have good heart soil?
